Lone pair of electrons are the ones that don't form any bonds. They're called "lone" but they don't seem lone to me at all. After all, they have their pairs, right?
You might wonder about the "alone" electrons. As far as I know, most of the time they're the ones that do the bonding.
My logic is ok with all of this but my heart is not.
How's is it possible to have lone "pairs" and all the "alone" electrons making bonds in (sub)atomic level while there are no lone pairs neither "alone" people having relationships in real world?
Maybe it's not that simple.
Sometimes it's too hard to look at the same thing from other points and at the same time find answers to what's unknown to the heart.
